SuFu hat nix ausgespuckt, falls es doch was gibt SORRY!

Aus Australien erwartet uns demn. ein Hochseethriller, der mich vom Trailer her an Open Water erinnert hat (hab ich aber selbst noch nicht gesehen), und recht spannend ausschaut:



Story: Kate, her brother Matt and his girlfriend Suzie arrive at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia to meet up with Kate’s ex-lover Luke. Luke and his friend Warren deliver boats round the world for a living. Luke’s offered to take his three friends sailing for a week on a boat he has to deliver to Indonesia. On the water Kate and Luke’s relationship starts to reignite but it’s fraught with old conflicts. Dawn, the next day. Suddenly the boat flips. There is a frantic struggle to save themselves and get on to the overturned hull. On top of the hull they see that the keel has been ripped away.

Assessing the situation Luke decides their best chance for survival is to swim for a nearby island. Should they swim or should they stay? One of them refuses to go whilst the other four decide to try and make the island. As they swim they become aware that they are being stalked by a huge shark. Based on true events, THE REEF is a tense survival thriller that begs the question, what would I do in this situation?

Sieht, wie ich zumindest finde, interessant aus und wird im Auge behalten. Was aber schon mal sehr cool ist, ist die Tatsache, dass man für die Haie weder CGI noch Animatronics verwendet hat, sondern auf reale Tieraufnahmen ausgewichen ist. Ist somit schon mal authentischer.

Zugegeben, es ist nur ein Teaser. Aber selbst der macht mich nicht sonderlich neugierig auf den Film...

Wo ist denn das nur ein Teaser? Man sieht doch die komplette Story.
Finde ich aber insgesamt auch nur mittelmäßig, wobei ich das beim Trailer von Open Water ebenfalls dachte und der hat mich beim Sehen dann überrascht.

na scheint ja nicht die übliche hai-nummer zu sein. könnte also spannend werden, denn Open Water hat mir auch gefallen. "in post production now" fand ich auch einen gelungenen spruch .

Ich weiß nicht. Auf mich machte der Trailer eher den Eindruck eines Katastrophenfilms im Minimal-Format. Anstatt der Menschheit leiden hier nur wenige Personen. Ich warte noch die ersten Reviews ab, bevor ich mich entscheide, ob ich diesen Film gucke oder nicht.

Wenn der so wird wie Open Water, dann schaue ich mir
ihn nicht an. Open Water war einfach nur langweilig.
Mal abgesehen von Der weiße Hai und Deep Blue Sea
gab es mMn. nichts gutes im Hai-Horror-Bereich.
Da warte ich lieber auf die Verfilmung von Meg.
